Pendraken 10mm have commissioned painted photos of their extensive SYW range for their online catalogue. Thus far only the British and Prussians have been completed but the photos do look remarkably good and show the wide range of poses available. As yet they do not show the other nations or the alternative standard bearers (generic) with bare flagpoles for adding one of the Pendraken (or any other manufacturer's) flags*. These are a different pose to the cast on flag figures in the Prussian range. As can be seen the British range does not have cast flags. Personally I feel that the Prussian standard figure should have been recast without the flag. There is also another very useful generic figure not yet painted up but illustrated in its bare metal, i.e. the kneeling, firing tricorn man.
*I actually use the Baccus 6mm flags which are slightly smaller and fit the Pendraken flagpoles much more comfortably.
The SYW Austrian range has now been painted up and added to the Pendraken catalogue. The painter has put an enormous amount of effort in, using the black undercoat technique. I imagine these took a fair while to do as they were commissioned specifically to advertise the product. They certainly look more spectacular than my humble efforts.
The Photos for the SYW Russians have now been put on the Pendraken catalogue. The vast majority of the figures of all branches are depicted in waistcoat, although there are a small number of codes with some infantry in the green coat and an alternative pack of horse grenadiers wearing the sky blue coat.
The people at Pendraken have been at it again and have now added colour photos of their Hanoverians (in the wrong uniform - apparently they look like Hessians as they have been painted blue), French and miscellaneous items, including the personalities, civilians and general's coach.
