It was difficult for me to follow the battle because the text is without paragraphs and I had to klick through the gallery of these great photos.
The table looks just superb. Great scenery and figures. I think that I would not have the patience to paint so many cavalry figures all in just one pose (sword at the shoulder). By the way this has his own style and looks impressive. I prefer to mix figures from different manufacturers, giving every unit a situation (firing, charging, standing around) of their own. Perhaps 20mm is very different regarding the Output of manufacturers and style of the boxes. It's a real pleasure to see such masses of french infantry and horse. Great details too. It has his own charme this collection of figures with one clear style (Minden and CanTara-figures I think).
Thank you for the report! Very interesting battle too.

Inspring pictures Gary. Thanks for posting the link. A very fine wargame indeed.

A magnificent array of beautifully painted and photographed miniatures. If I had chosen the 28mm route 20 years ago (instead of the smaller scales), I still don't think my painting skills would have improved to the extent of most of the examples shown. Bravo! Have already viewed the club's Minden game - also brilliant!
p.s. A tiny observation, however, for some of the flags, perhaps a bit more furl in them and some paint on the edges?
