I hope to play Weißenburg at the next weekend.
On the anniversary of the battle I will most certainly have not the time to do so and I hope to renew my kowledge of the rules as I couldn't play for many weeks because my wife was too far away and I had no other options to play. Besides I had to work on our blog (TYW these days) and for our next event in April.
It's strange to play again the scenario of a very unknown battle for three times. But I believe that I improved my table again and again regarding buildings and figures. At our second game for example I could renounce Prussians to use as Bavarians because meanwhile I bought a large collection of Bavarian troops.
Now I will have the chance to replace 2 of my 3 Units under Waldenheim with "real Hessians" which will give the battle a nice touch too. Besides I know have enough of Austrian hussars to fight in Trips' Brigade.
The Scenario will mostly be as I wrote it. I just changed (maybe for my last refight) the option to pull back the Austrian Brigade under Puebla.
As I will be busy next week to prepare to welcome our dear friend and to built up the next HoW battle (for which Weißenburg will be somehow a prelude), I want to start the thread right now.

French: occupy the churchyard of Altstadt (no enemy near (10cm) for one turn) - if not so -> Austrian victory
breaking the enemies army.
Wissembourg BUA heavy cover
All redoubts and churchyard of Altstadt heavy cover
Lauter fordable river
Please note, that Seckendorff and Coigny are in command. Seckendorff commands the Hessian Brigade under Waldenheim and the Bavarian under Oettingen, while Coigny commands all other brigades.
Seckendorff can help to Rally off hits of the Bavarians and Hessians, not of the French (as I don't think, that they would recognize him as in command).
I included today the aspect that Waldenheim could be killed on a 8-12, refelcting his heroic death at this battle leading his batallions in the fierce fighting around Altstadt.
